2600 t-shirt

by 2600 Magazine | 75 words

This is anything but your typical hacker-chic barcode style t-shirt. We think our deskphone image (green in color) is both pleasing to the eye and useful in a pinch. The 2600 old-school telephone logo on the back (black in color) completes the mood. Shirts are 100% cotton and white, available in sizes S to XXXL. $20 includes shipping, except overseas.

Hello,

As you kindly asked for feedback, I am quite glad to provide. I ironically found your magazine through Amazon's Kindle book lending program. (I get the magazine for 7 days and then it's returned.) I borrowed it just out of curiosity - with so many things I need to read, I doubt I would have bought it.

Very glad I did and, as soon as I finish this email, I plan to subscribe. Little did I know a magazine about hacking could be so entertaining, humane, and fun. And reading about issues like Internet law, etc. without the dross of flame wars and petty nitpicking was great.

Too bad I have been missing out on it all this time but never too late.

Lastly, I am sure the Kindle is not a popular device with many of your subscribers, and possibly for good reason. However, I consume a large amount of technical books and can't stand all the needless tree killing for information with such a rapid expiration date, so I thank you for providing your magazine in this format.

Glad we were able to reach you. We've found the Kindle has been successful in getting the magazine to people who otherwise had never even heard of us and that alone is way cool. But there are other platforms and many different ways we can be spreading the information around effectively. We're doing our best to get to all of them. It is indeed an exciting time to be in publishing, despite what you may hear from those in the business who aren't interested in doing things differently.

Awesome!!! You can't imagine how long I waited for this to happen. Well... since I'm not the only ebook aficionado, I think you are going to please a lot of people. Now I will have no excuse to miss an issue. I was so pleased that I bougth every book and "zine" available.

Some comments:

- I have no negative coments. Everything is fine on my phone: fonts and cover.

- I miss the cover pictures. I understand the download size issue that they would bring. Is there a way to post them on the web and provide a link in the digital version?

- I would rather give you the same amount of money directly instead of going through a reseller. Unless you have some contractual clause preventing this. I would be glad to help maintain the paper version so dear to you.

Excellent work
