Human medications are often helpful for cats, and you may already have many of the following medications in your medicine chest. However, the dosages vary depending on the size of the pet and other ongoing health issues. It’s a good idea to keep these products and/or herbs on hand, but it’s best to call the veterinarian for a specific dose and medication recommendation for your individual animal.
