at least one key aspect: Besides the affidavit obtained by lawyer Bob Bennett from Clinton’s urologist that Bennett was prepared to offer at trial, Ms. Jones’s own lawyers had reached out to Gennifer Flowers with whom Clinton had admittedly engaged in sexual relations during the time period in question. According to Jones’s own lawyers, Ms. Flowers was unable to corroborate the existence of the distinguishing characteristic (James Fisher, interview with author). As well, other confidential sources in a position to observe such a trait stated unequivocally that it not exist (author’s interviews with confidential sources). It is true that Ms. Jones’s lawyers from Virginia had insisted that she take a polygraph test concerning her alleged encounter with Clinton and that she passed that test (Gilbert Davis, interview with author). Moreover, it is true that Peyronie’s disease can be corrected through a treatment regimen of vitamins and/or surgery. Nonetheless, the vast weight of the evidence failed to support Ms. Jones when it came to the existence of this condition relating to Clinton’s genitalia that she had made a centerpiece of her lawsuit.
