Reasonable rates for well-maintained rooms are what you'll find here, and there's even a heated outdoor swimming pool. This comfortable, older motel has Southwest decor with light-wood furnishings and coffeemakers. Four rooms have shower only; the rest have tub/shower combos. Several family rooms have three beds each. There are two barbecue and picnic areas.

English owners Steve and Deb Masefield have furnished this lovely 1929 home with many family antiques, creating an inn that is both attractive and comfortable. We especially enjoy the historic ambience, but the wireless Internet access is nice, too. On the first floor are two cheerful rooms, each with one double bed. Upstairs is a 1,200-square-foot suite with a vaulted ceiling, a wood-burning stove, a kitchenette, and a claw-foot tub (plus separate shower). This unit has a queen bed and two single beds, and windows reveal the gardens and the national park. The cute Garden Cottage, which was moved here from inside the national park, contains two small but comfortable rooms, each with one queen-size bed; and a room with two single beds. In the backyard is an attractive garden area with a gas barbecue. Breakfast generally includes home-baked breads, fresh fruit, and a hot main dish. All units are nonsmoking.
Zion Park Motel

This economical modern motel offers comfortable, attractively furnished rooms. Bathrooms have showers or tub/shower combos. All rooms have refrigerators and microwaves, and two suites have full kitchens. Facilities include a seasonal outdoor heated pool, a picnic area, and a playground. A self-service laundry, a small but well-stocked grocery store with camping supplies and an ATM, and a restaurant are adjacent.
Zion Mountain Resort

The upscale log cabins and family lodges here, just outside the east entrance to the national park, provide a luxurious way to "rough it" while visiting Zion. The spacious log cabins have lodgepole king-size beds and plenty of amenities, including refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers, and satellite TV. The smallest are 350 square feet, and some of the larger cabins, at well over 500 square feet, include two-person jetted tubs and gas fireplaces. Family lodges are 1,250 to 1,500 square feet, sleep 7 to 10 people, and include fully equipped kitchens. One even has its own telescope!
The property covers 1,000 wooded acres, where you're very likely to see the resort's bison herd. The resort offers horseback riding ($30 per hour) and a kid's horseback riding camp. There are also fishing ponds, an outdoor whirlpool, a gift shop, and a restaurant that serves three meals daily.
