The homey touches and personal attention make this B&B an attractive alternative to the standard motel. The rooms are simply but attractively decorated, with handmade quilts on the queen beds. Two rooms are dedicated to women pioneers and have brass beds;
two have handmade wooden beds and are dedicated to male pioneers; and the fifth is Western style, with a wonderful high arched window providing terrific views of the night sky. Breakfasts include a hot dish, homemade breads, and fresh fruits. All rooms have windows facing the national park, and the three upstairs rooms have private balconies. Each has its own entrance. Packages that include horseback rides are available at an extra charge. Smoking is not permitted.

A modern motel with a Western flair, the Bryce Canyon Pines offers well-maintained rooms with light-wood furnishings, a table and two padded chairs, and two queen-size beds in most rooms. Some units have fireplaces (wood is supplied free in winter), some have fully stocked kitchenettes, and one has its own whirlpool tub. There's a covered, heated swimming pool, and an adjacent restaurant (see "Where to Dine," below).

This attractive property offers a good range of accommodations, from basic to elegant. It also has a good location, adjacent to the main parking area for the Bryce Canyon shuttle, at the intersection of Utah Highways 12 and 63.
The standard motel rooms have modern furnishings and all the usual amenities. The solid wood furniture is stained a rich mahogany, and each room contains one king- or two queen-size beds, a table and chairs, two sinks, a tub/shower combo, and an ample closet. There are also some smaller "economy" rooms without phones, renovated older cabins (which do not have A/C or phones), and handsome cottages with kitchenettes. Two upscale suites have jetted tubs, king-sized beds, and kitchenettes; another suite has a fireplace. On the property are an outdoor heated pool, a sauna, and a restaurant.
