Leslie Kelly…

—Romantic Times BOOKreviews

Dear Reader,

Some people like cowboys. Some like FBI agents. Some like princes.

I really like a smooth-talking bad boy. And if he has an accent, so much the better.

So when I wrote One Wild Wedding Night and introduced incredibly sexy bad boy Sean Murphy, I knew I was going to have to tell his story.

I wasn’t sure I could pull it off. I mean, come on, a gigolo as a hero? But Pretty Woman is one of my favorite movies, so why couldn’t a reverse of the gender roles work in a supersexy Harlequin Blaze novel? Fortunately, my amazing editor agreed (thanks, Brenda!). And the result is Heated Rush.

Personally, I think it turned out very well. The fantasy of being the woman to tame a bad boy has always been one of my favorites, and Annie Davis seemed like just the right woman for the job. Especially since at first she has no idea who he really is, or what he really does.

I hope you enjoy Heated Rush, which is actually the second book in my THE WRONG BED: AGAIN AND AGAIN miniseries, which began last month with my Harlequin Blaze title Slow Hands.

And here’s to those bad boys…

Happy reading!

GIVEN THE CHOICE between sticking flaming skewers up her nose and attending her own parents’ thirty-fifth anniversary party without a date, Annie Davis would, without hesitation, reach for the lighter fluid and a match. Instead, she was reaching for her checkbook. Wondering just how far she could go—how much she could spend—to ensure she avoided a fate worse than burned nostrils.

“Twenty-five hundred, that’s all I can swing,” she murmured, reminding both herself, and her friend Tara, who sat
