4. In a large serving bowl, spread one-third of the chocolate mixture, then one-third of the cookie crumbs. Repeat 2 times.
Note: The appearance of the top layer of cookie crumbs makes the dish look like a big bowl of dirt—if you want to get cute, you can place some gummy worms so that they look like they’re crawling out of the top.
SPIKED CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE
YIELD: 2 servings

1 cup Trader Joe’s Ultra
Chocolate Ice Cream
5 Joe-Joe’s Chocolate Sandwich
Creme Cookies (any variety),
plus 2 for garnish
3/4 cup Kahlúa, or other coffee
liqueur
canned sweetened light
whipped cream (optional)
These milkshakes may look on the small side, but they’re very rich.
1. In a blender, place the ice cream, cookies, and Kahlúa. (Use more or less ice cream if you prefer a thicker or thinner shake). Blend on high until combined.
2. Pour the milkshakes into 2 glasses. Top with whipped cream, if desired, and garnish with the remaining cookies crumbled on top.
BOURBON STREET SHAKE
YIELD: 2 servings

1 cup Trader Joe’s French Vanilla
Ice Cream
1 tablespoon Trader Jacques’
Fleur de Sel Caramel Sauce
1/3 cup whole milk
1/3 cup bourbon
Vanilla ice cream and bourbon meet a touch of salted caramel in this dreamy shake.
1. In a blender, place the ice cream, caramel sauce, milk, and bourbon. (Use more or less ice cream if you prefer a thicker or thinner shake). Blend on high until combined.
2. Pour the milkshakes into 2 glasses.
MICHELADA
YIELD: 1 serving

juice of 1 lime

Jalapeño Pepper Hot Sauce, or

This is a riff on the popular Tex-Mex version of a refreshing summer beer.
1. Fill a large glass with ice.
2. Pour in the tomato juice, lime juice, and hot sauce, and stir to combine.
3. Slowly pour in the beer. Gently stir.
LOVE DRUNK PUNCH

1/2 (12-ounce) can frozen Trader
Joe’s Organic Orange Juice,
thawed
2 cups Trader Joe’s 100%
Pineapple Juice
1 1/2 cups rum
1/2 cup peach liqueur
4 cups Trader Joe’s Sparkling
Apple Cider
The sparkling cider gives this punch an invigorating fizziness. Try not to make it too far in advance, as the carbonation will gradually fade.
1. In a large pitcher or bowl, place the orange juice, pineapple juice, rum, and peach liqueur. Stir or shake to combine, making sure the orange juice is dissolved.
2. Add the sparking apple cider, stirring more to combine.
SANGRIA
YIELD: 4 servings

1 (25-ounce) jar Trader Joe’s Pear
Halves in White Grape Juice
1 (750 ml) bottle La Ferme Julien
Rosé, or any other rosé or dry
red wine
1/4 cup triple sec
1 cup seltzer water
1 orange, cut into wedges
1 lemon, cut into wedges
1 bunch red grapes
Sangria is a blend of wine, juice, and chunks of citrus or other fresh fruit.
1. Chop the pears into small chunks and reserve the juice.
2. In a pitcher, stir together the grape juice from the pears, the wine, triple sec, and seltzer water.
3. Add the pear slices, orange wedges, lemon wedges, and grapes.
4. Refrigerate for a few hours until chilled.
GINGER BEER LEMONADE
YIELD: 4 servings
