Banana (Frozen)

No other fruit has more digestible carbs than bananas. All three natural sugars—sucrose, fructose, and glucose. Fiber too. The boost of natural energy will have you ready to rock. And rock you will.

Sugar-free, Fat-free, Instant Pudding Mix

Start with vanilla here, too. Then enjoy the variety of flavors available.

I just discovered Blackberry Fusion. Delicious.

The pudding adds flavor, protein, and bulk.

Packet of Sugar Substitute

This is for a little extra sweetness. Don’t add—or add more—according to taste.

Water

Because your body needs it. And the ingredients won’t blend well without it.

Crushed Ice

Ice cubes are fine, too (as long as the lid’s on the blender).

And, to give the final wizard’s touch, you’ll add. . .

Secret Ingredient X

Ever get a recipe from a great cook who deliberately left something out? Something that would take the dish from great to spectacular?

Nutmeg. It’s is a classic spice for attracting happiness and money. Translation: Instant interviews!

And it’s a delightful flavor.

Just don’t use too much. A pinch is enough.

Secret Ingredient Y

Baking soda. It’s practical (and wizardly clever). A half-teaspoon of baking soda cuts the acid in the coffee. It also reduces urgency, offsetting the diuretic effect of coffee. Add a little, and you’ll be less likely to cross your legs and walk like a mummy—very instantly. Or go running around looking for a restroom while accepting the offer of your life.

Baking soda fizzes when mixed with water. Use a little, get delightful effervescence. Use a lot, and your cauldron will erupt! The potion will be sour too.

Making and Taking the Potion

Start the night before by freezing a few bananas. Peel and cut them in half. Put the halves in a plastic bag in the freezer. You’ll also need to make ice cubes if you don’t already have them frozen.

In the morning, mix the elixir in a cauldron—er—blender.

Here’s how:

1. Pour in two teaspoons of instant coffee with one cup of water. (Yes, one cup of black coffee is fine.)

2. Add one-half of a frozen banana.

3. Blend the coffee and the banana, then turn off the blender. Let the mush sit for a few minutes while you collect and add the other ingredients.

4. Add three tablespoons of protein powder. (The scoop inside the container is usually the size of a tablespoon.)

5. Add a cup of dry oatmeal.

6. Add approximately two dozen raisins.

7. Add a tablespoon of almond butter.

8. Add one packet of sugar substitute. (None or more according to taste.)

9. Add one half-cup serving of the sugar-free, fat-free, instant pudding mix. (Four half-cup servings are in the regular 9 oz. box.)

10. Add two cups of crushed ice. (Don’t overfill the blender. Leave at least an inch between the top of the liquid and the lid.)

11. Push “Blend.”

12. Pause a moment here. You’re about to add the magic.

13. Add a pinch of nutmeg.

14. Add a half-teaspoon of baking soda.

15. Say the incantation, “Sixteen interviews today!” as you . . .

16. Blend again.

Assuming you’re able to digest this smoothie, you’ll probably never leave home again without drinking it. There’s just no better way I’ve ever seen to move you through your moves with optimum results. It just naturally increases your number of successful I.I.’s!

You’ll power consistently on all eight cylinders without taking the time and money to eat out.

Let the potion work its magic on you!

Do 3: Maintaining Magic Potion Potency Throughout the Day

It’s essential to keep the Instant Interview Magic Potion fueling you throughout the day.

Taking the potion when you get up (or after your workout at the jobgym, Do 45) will easily power you through the morning of instants. But it’ll eventually need a booster to keep its magic working.

We want you to be as sharp as a tack, energetic, and enthusiastic until you’ve done all 16 appearances (then taking the bows at home).

You never know which door opens to your dream job, and you’ve got to be 100
