Perfect Fit - Brenda Jackson [130]

did seemed to fit.

In the long, slow moments that followed their joining, Gabe remained still for a second, savoring the feel of being inside of her, the feel of her feminine muscles clamping down on him, holding him, milking him, nearly driving him insane. And then he began to move, in a slow, precise rhythm; one she picked up on automatically as she spread her thighs wider for him and wrapped her legs around his back.

The pillow her backside rested on made him go that much deeper, touch areas within her that he normally didn’t touch, and she purred relentlessly at the feel of him moving on top of her, hip to hip, thigh to thigh, inside and out.

And when he felt her body beginning to shudder, his automatically did likewise, and they came together, crying out each other’s name, needing to be one this way as husband and wife, as lovers, as friends, as two people who were a perfect fit in every way.

In the long moments that followed, Gabe removed the pillow from under her and pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly to him, right next to his heart. “I love you,” he whispered, kissing the dampness from her forehead.

She smiled, nearly gasping for breath after such a beautiful, intimate encounter with her husband. The flush of her orgasm had not yet faded, and her body was still trembling. This was how it was supposed to be, she thought, as she snuggled closer to his side. Whenever two people who had committed their lives together united as one, all the pleasures God intended for them to have, to share, were theirs. There was a reason He had given certain body parts to them for them to feel this way, and she knew her husband had every intention of exploring every aspect of “hidden pleasures” during their lifetime.

“And I love you,” she finally was able to dredge up enough strength to whisper. Moments later, she said, “You were wrong, Gabe.”

He lifted a brow and gazed lovingly down at his wife. “I was wrong about what, sweetheart?”

Her smile widened. “Your mother didn’t make a mistake in naming you Gabriel, because you are truly an angel. My angel.”
