Lee has been a teaching pastor at two of America’s largest churches: Willow Creek Community Church in suburban Chicago and Saddleback Valley Community Church in Orange County, California. He is a contributing editor and columnist for Outreach magazine and formerly taught First Amendment Law at Roosevelt University.
Lee and Leslie, who have been married for more than thirty years, reside in Southern California. Their daughter, Alison, is a teacher and novelist; their son, Kyle, received his master’s degree in philosophy of religion and is pursuing a second master’s degree in New Testament studies.
