The Complete Idiot's Guide to 2012 - Dr. Synthia Andrews Nd [79]

that in 2006 a third world war would begin in the Middle East.

Was the Code wrong or did free will change the timeline? And most importantly with all this, how does free will impact anything? The Bible Code makes these difficult questions. The Bible was written approximately 2,000 years ago and presumably was coded for the future (and perhaps past) at that time. So how can free will now change what was coded then? It seems possible only if the present has the power to change the past. Or are all possibilities present in the code and we pull out and find only the one that is most probable at the time we look for it?

Bible Code and 2012

So what does it actually say about 2012? It claims a comet will hit the earth and annihilate it. Or the comet will be intercepted and “it will be crumbled.” It also says “I will tear it (the comet) to pieces.” Is the “I” in the passage a mistake, not really part of the phrase, or is there a personality hidden behind the messages? Who might we be talking to?

The Web Bot Project

This project has been underway since the late 1990s. The person who originated it prefers to remain anonymous and just calls himself “Cliff.” It relies on a system of “spiders” that “crawl” the Internet, much like a search engine, looking for particular kinds of words. According to Cliff, the spiders “target discussion groups, translation sites, and places where regular people post a lot of text. No, we don’t do e-mail scanning: that’s what we have the government for.”

This technology is used by many governments in watching e-mail traffic for terrorist activity. We can assume the keywords are much different!

How Does It Work?

Whenever the spider finds a keyword, it takes a small 2,048-byte snip of the surrounding text and sends it to a central collection point. Over a period of time the “chatter points” concentrate, revealing a spike in intensity. Like the Bible Code, the technology doesn’t come out with direct messages. It gives words or phrases that reflect people’s thought processes. Web Bot technology appears to tap into preconscious awareness, or the collective unconscious. It finds patterns before events occur and presumably before people are talking about them.

So what has Web Bot predicted?

◆ The crash of American Airlines flight 587

◆ Elements of the DC sniper case

◆ The space shuttle Columbia disaster

Technology Problems

The main problem with the technology at this point is the amount of “chatter” unrelated to the “preconscious” mind. For example, the crash of American Airlines flight 587 was predicted ahead of time, but as a terrorist event. Remember, eyewitnesses believed they saw a land-launched rocket. This belief was projected into the Web Bot information. Who knows, maybe they did see a rocket. In any case, what they believed was as real as what actually happened and was picked up ahead of the event—another indication that we need to watch what we focus our minds on. We could collectively be creating a 2012 disaster!

Web Bot and 2012

When the Mayan calendar end date is used as a keyword, there is only one Web Bot prediction. It predicts a pole shift in 2012. Since this is a main theme people are discussing, you may wonder what use it has. The interesting fact is that the spikes arrive before the events, not after.

Princeton Global Consciousness Project (GCP)

Another initiative watching events in the collective unconscious is the Princeton Global Consciousness Project. The project is based on a random generator. Random generators are devices like a lottery number generator. It throws balls into the air, then drops them where they randomly fall into different chutes. Although the technology used by the GCP is much more advanced, you get the idea. The project maintains 65 generating sites around the world.

The theory is that events that have significant human impact may affect the randomness of the data. In fact, what the project has demonstrated
