Colin Meets with Banyacya
Thomas Banyacya spoke to the General Assembly at the United Nations in December 1992 about the Hopi prophecy. The prophecy states that sacred offerings were to be made to the “House of Mica.” The Hopi word for “peace” is Mica and “the House of Mica” is believed by the Hopi to be the United Nations. Thomas gave those offerings and words in December 1992, when he delivered a stern warning for the world and humanity.
Colin also spoke to a subgroup at the United Nations, the United Nations Society for Enlightenment and Transformation (S.E.A.T.). He spoke in October 1993 about the crop circles, also emphasizing the need to curtail the environmental crises underway.
In November 1994, Colin was asked by Thomas Banyacya to meet at a conference they were both speaking at in Atlanta. When Colin and Banyacya met, Thomas stated that giving his statement to the UN was his final responsibility to the Hopi prophecy. He explained to Colin the importance of the prophecy and the signs that had already come to pass. He further stated that the lack of response of the United Nations to his speech marked the point where we could no longer turn from the black road to the red road.

Thomas Banyacya gave a moving and important speech to the U.N., one that was largely if not completely ignored. Many of the things he said have similarities to predictions for 2012.
Thomas Banyacya stood before the United Nations General Assembly on December 4, 1992. He told them that the Hopi prophecy predicted a Hopi representative would one day speak to the United Nations, or House of Mica. He spoke about the mission of the United Nations to carry out justice in the world and noted that Native Americans have never before been heard or had representation at the United Nations.
Banyacya carried to the United Nations a message of peace from the Hopi and a warning from the prophecies. He warned of the dangerous environmental crisis we are in. His warning was ignored.

On April 26, 1993, Thomas sent a final letter to Boutros Boutros-Ghali, the Secretary General of the United Nations. The letter read in part: “The Hopi elders in 1948 accurately foretold that the whole world would be in terrible crisis at this point in time and many peoples would need guidance as to how to survive these crisis times. This is what we offer. I, Banyacya, am just an interpreter, I am not a spiritual leader or medicine man. I am a member of the Wolf, Fox, and Coyote clans come to warn you on behalf of the Hopi elders. I have come to warn all the peoples of the world that this purification is coming. … We need your help. We must join hands together acting as one people to save this Earth.”
He asked for a formal response from the United Nations to his message. It never came. Thomas Banyacya passed away on February 6, 1999.
