Turn - Max Lucado [13]
My favorite part of the story is what happened the next day. I shared this account in my Sunday sermon. A couple from our church dropped by and picked the desk up, telling us they would paint it. When they returned it a couple of days later, it was covered with angels. And I was reminded that when we pray for God’s kingdom to come, it comes!
All the hosts of heaven rush to our aid.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Many heads and hands collaborated to create this small volume. A special salute to:
—The National Day of Prayer Committee: Shirley Dobson, Vonette Bright, and Jim Wiedmann. May the words and proceeds of this project encourage your noble work.
—Steve Green, for navigating this ship through a tight fiord.
—The Multnomah Team, namely Doug Gabbert and Larry Libby. Great work!
—Karen Hill, my editorial assistant. Essential. Valuable. Wonderful.
—And my wife, Denalyn. No one loves God and country more than you. And no one loves you more than I.
