Passionate about social justice, Matt educates low-income students about nutrition with the Network for a Healthy California and teaches community college in South Central Los Angeles. Matt also advises vegan athletes on ways to maximize their performance during training and events. He has participated in numerous ultra-endurance bicycle and triathlon events throughout the world.
