SPIRITUAL DIMENSIONS
Many years back, I was honored to meet Mark Macy, a dedicated research scientist who, like me, was interested in providing detailed proof of life after death. Much of his work has been overlooked and remains so to this day. Macy was at the forefront of investigations into the various means by which ghosts communicate with the living. He was involved with World Instrumental Trans-Communication, an organization of researchers who used various technologies such as radio, television, and computers to bring forth messages and communication from the spiritual world. I have studied Macy’s work for years and find that much of the information he has collected closely resembles the ghostly descriptions I have received through my own psychic work.
As I explain the various levels of the spirit world, please remember that I do so based on my own spiritual evolvement. A ghost who wants to express the color red through me is limited by what I understand as the color red. The ghost has to use my frame of reference. Another medium might have a different interpretation of the color red based on his or her frame of reference. Also, the dimensions of the spirit world are not easy to describe. I am limited by inadequate human terms. It is often difficult to describe dimensions that are ethereal and celestial. I find it frustrating when I try to explain the incredible visions, colors, and feelings that are being communicated to me. Words don’t do the spiritual realms justice.
When we leave our physical bodies in death, we enter a very finely tuned dimension. As discussed in the last chapter, everyone’s experience upon entering the spirit world is different depending on their belief system, their level of fear or ignorance, and their spiritual evolvement. As we pass through the lower astral level and move to the higher dimensions of the astral world, the experiences become even more rarefied. Thoughts and feelings are heightened in intensity. Ghosts travel to various dimensions until they reach a dimension that coincides with their level of awareness.
On earth many of us share lives with others who have completely different ideologies from our own. If we look around the world, we can see a multitude of religious beliefs and various ideas about how life works. We live with diversity because earth is our school, and we are here to learn from the differences everyone has to offer us. However, in the spiritual dimensions we gravitate to a dimension of like-mindedness and toward others who have the same points of view and are at the same level of evolvement as our own. We create with our thoughts, words, and deeds, and how we have lived our lives is where we will end up after we die. If we follow a certain faith or religion, for example, we will be with others who share that same philosophy.
OUR FAITH MAKES IT SO
A few years ago, I did a reading with Malcolm Jamal Warner from The Cosby Show. Malcolm was and is a wonderful, creative, loving guy. In the middle of his reading, a very big woman who had died in a car accident showed up. She wore a yellow dress and a wide-brimmed white hat. She looked as if she were going to a Sunday church service.
She stood in front of me and said, My name’s Virginia, and I think you are doing the devil’s work speaking with spirits.
I asked her, If I am evil, why did you show up?
Because I love him.
That is why I do this work…out of love.
She was insistent. No, the devil is putting words in your mouth.
Are you the devil? I asked.
She was flabbergasted. Of course not.
Eventually, she began to understand what I was getting at. However, she continued to relay various biblical passages to me.
As I transmitted the messages to Malcolm, he smiled. “That’s my Auntie Virginia!”
This reading demonstrated how tenaciously we can hold on to our die-hard beliefs. How do we change such beliefs? We have to be open to change. When we are able to see love and healing and think of people as good, not evil, we may be able
