Captain Ramsey (Aviation Scout, 199th LIB) rotated with twenty-nine AM, left the service, completed his college degree, and now, raising his son from his first marriage and his stepson from his second wife's first marriage, is a major on active duty with the National Guard, living in Novato, California. First Lieutenant Hogue (XO, D/2-40 FA) left the service with the BSMv, two BSM, and AM to finish college and then graduate school. Now married and the father of three, he owns a real estate company and works in a family-owned commercial print shop in Mesa, Arizona. Staff Sergeant Smith (B/5-12) won four BSMv, AR-COMv, and two PH during his three combat tours with the 199th LIB, 4th Div, and Vietnamese Rangers. Now married and the father of one son, he is a first sergeant.

Colonel Starry (CO, 11th ACR) served in WW II as an enlisted man, and pulled two tours in Vietnam, winning the SS, three LM, DFC, SM, BSMv, BSM, nine AM, JSCM, ARCOM, and PH. After retiring with four stars, he is now executive vice president of Ford Aerospace, living near Washington, D.C. Command Sergeant Major Horn (11th ACR) served a year in Korea and two in Vietnam, and wore the SS, LM, DFC, four BSM, two MSM, twenty-two AM, four ARCOM, PH, and RVN Cross of Gallantry when he retired two years short of his thirty, disgusted by the erosion of discipline in the New Action Army. Now a senior vice president of a credit union, he lives with his wife in Copperas Cove, Texas. Major Smart (CO, Air Cay Troop, 11th ACR) won the DFC, two BSM, eighteen AM, and PH during two tours and is presently a colonel. Lieutenant Colonel Reed (CO, 1-11) won the BSM in Korea, the LM, DFC, BSMv, and twelve AM in Vietnam, and retiring as a colonel, lives with his wife in Rockport, Texas. First Lieutenant Baerman (A and C/1-11) rotated with the SS, four BSMv, BSM, ARCOMv, ARCOM, and two PH, and married before the war, is now the father of three and a lieutenant colonel. Specialist Fourth Class Pagan (A/1-11) is now a VA counselor in Puerto Rico. Lieutenant Colonel Brookshire (CO, 2-11) won the SS for Snoul, and with two of his three children opting for military careers, he retired as a brigadier general, eventually became Director of Planning Research Corp's Scientific Support Lab, Fort Ord, living with his wife in Salinas, California. Major Marsh (XO, 2-11) retired as a colonel to El Paso, Texas. Major Franks (S-3, 2-11) was awarded the SS, DFC, BSMv, BSM, forty-three AM, and two PH, and despite the amputation of most of one foot, is currently a major general. Captain Menzel (CO, G/2-11) earned the BSM, AM, PH, and RVN Cross of Gallantry for his two combat tours. Now remarried to the 1981 Miss Honduras (they have a son), he is rated as a Latin American expert, is currently a lieutenant colonel on his seventh tour in the area, and is posted to the U.S. Army Security Assistance Agency in Panama. First Lieutenant Cambria (G/2-11) earned the BSMv, two BSM, two AM, two PH, ARCOM and RVN Cross of Gallantry. As a result of wounds received in Cambodia, he was medically retired in November 1972 as a captain. Returning to college, he earned a Business Management degree and graduated as class Valedictorian from Saint Mary's College (Calif.), and earned a C.L.U. degree from American College (Bryn Mawr, Pa.). A single father raising three children, he lives in Novato, California, and is president of Calibrated Captial Inc. and its subsidiary C.I.B. Media. First Lieutenant Zerbach (G/2-11) won the BSMv, BSM, AM, PH, and RVN Cross of Gallantry, is now a lieutenant colonel in the reserves and a communications analyst, and is the father of two, living in Roswell, Georgia.
