in your head. You may doubt it when it comes. If you do, ask to talk to your Higher Self, just to make sure you are connected to the Source and not just any astral entity.

Life Mission Group

Maybe now would be a good time to talk about the Life Mission group I was a part of. We shared a common interest in understanding what life mission was all about and how to find our own path in life. We'd bring brown bag lunches and meet for a few hours every other week.

Just getting together and sharing thoughts and ideas started the ball rolling. Several in the group had felt they were not where they were supposed to be and sure enough, the universe made it clear to them.

One woman fell on the way to work. Then when she got there, the computer system crashed and the phone system shut down. A pretty clear message that she was in the wrong place.

Another woman had gotten a traffic ticket for not following signs. She confirmed that she wasn't following the signs in her life for the direction she really wanted and needed to go.

Another woman woke up one morning and heard, “your mission is to help other people find their life mission.” Appropriately enough, she was the first facilitator of our group.

Just getting together and talking, sharing and doing exercises helped move us along. We explored personality tests, read books, bounced ideas off each other and supported each other emotionally. We were exploring territory that was pretty new then. If you feel like starting a life mission group of your own, there are many exercises in my books that are suitable.

Spa Healing Temple

Another project formed about the same time as the Life Mission group, but with a slightly different people make-up. Called The Spa Healing Temple, it was a vision for a whole new way to approach healing, nurturing and spirituality.

The founding members of the Life Mission group and Spa Healing Temple project have since passed over to the other side. They helped seed the energy structure and are now available as support from the other side to a larger group of people.

A Spa Healing Temple could be cabins in the woods, a downtown spa or any center where healing, spirituality and pleasure are key ingredients. It could have any name. Spa Healing Temple is a concept, not a franchise idea. It may be a center with a bookstore, café or restaurant, treatment rooms for therapy, large classroom space as well as meditation room.

Many in the new age community have tried to build a center or school only to walk away frustrated over the power struggles that invariably ensue. Therapy organizations are no different, it's amazing how often people get caught in petty politics of who gets authorized to teach, or is included or excluded, accepted or not. Until we heal enough so we can open the door to show others our vulnerability and get out of power-over and into empowerment none of these organizations will work. What I do know is that any project of this type would need to be built on a foundation of regular group meditation and with members who are doing their own inner work. Otherwise the egos just take off and create havoc.

I love the writing of Florence Scovel Shinn and Emmet Fox. They explain so eloquently the principle of: that which belongs to us by Divine right, or by right of consciousness, is ours, we cannot lose it. It is guaranteed that we have it. We may not get what we think we want, but we always get what we need, when the time is right.

We need to work from a basis of inner wisdom where each and every one of us is connected to and gets directed by the Higher Self. Where we operate from Spiritual principles and really own that what is mine by right of consciousness can't be taken from me and really understand that to try to occupy the space that belongs to another is a violation of Spiritual law. We need to learn to surrender to the higher wisdom. Part of that is to let go of the abdication of power to a guru, leader or another human. We need to be willing to send the ego on a long hike on a short pier. Isn't it time to let petty squabbles
