Mugglenet.com's Harry Potter Should Have Died - Emerson Spartz [79]

By Root 722 0
likely to have a midlife crisis and divorce boring Hermione. Ginny is way too hot for Harry—she’ll probably have an affair with some hot young wizard, which will break up their awkward and hastily arranged marriage. Then, finally, destiny will have the last laugh and the most beautiful love story ever told will reach its magnificent climax as the two embrace as lovers for the first time

Verdict

Ginny’s passionate but clueless love object had a lot to learn, but Ginny was willing to wait until Harry saw her as the girl of his dreams. Ron took his own sweet time asking Hermione to go steady, but eventually made himself worthy of her love. Harry and Hermione were the lead roles in the greatest love story never told. Which story is most romantic? The Hero and the Princess? The Sidekick and the Brain? The Lucky Guy and the Nerd? Verdict: Ron and Hermione had more problems, but also more passion, and that makes them the most romantic.

Who would win in a fight: centaurs or giants?

Centaurs

This is like saying who’s smarter: Hermione or Stan Shunpike? It’s obvious that centaurs are about one hundred IQ points higher in intelligence than the giants, so it should be easy for them to win a fight. With their knowledge of stars and the future, centaurs could figure the odds of winning the battle, and choose the best time to attack. They are fast on their hooves, and can easily dodge the giants’ big feet. While it’s true that they mostly anger Hagrid’s brother Grawp with their bows and arrows, working together, the herd could use ropes to bring a giant down and then stomp him with their horseshoes. Also, giants are bloodthirsty toward their own kind, which is why there are so few of them left. The centaurs could just start a fight between several giants, and let them kill each other.

Giants

Centaurs could never win a battle with giants. The size factor is what matters, and Grawp was able to knock down a centaur with a wave of his big beefy hand, and he wasn’t even trying. A giant is like a one-man army, able to rip a tall pine tree out of the ground. So one giant could take out a whole regiment of centaurs with one swipe of his tree club, and there’s nothing the centaurs could do except run away.

Verdict

In the battle between centaurs and giants, would the key be brains or brawn? Centaurs like to believe that they are superior in all things, but the fact is the giants could crush them like animal crackers. The giants would definitely have the strength advantage, but these buffoons would be no match for the collective brain power of the centaurs in large numbers. Verdict: The ratio of centaurs to giants would determine the victor.

Besides Voldemort, who is the worst villain?

Lucius Malfoy

For most of the series, Lucius Malfoy is Voldemort’s right-hand man. A snobby pureblood, Lucius sneers at anyone he feels is beneath him, which is almost everyone. Ask his house-elf Dobby, who has to iron his hands daily for punishment. While Lucius loves his own son, he never hesitates to threaten the Weasleys and Harry, and his scheming puts everyone in danger. It’s Lucius who gives eleven-year-old Ginny the haunted Horcrux diary of Tom Riddle in CoS, unleashing the basilisk into Hogwarts. In PoA, he tries to get Dumbledore fired as headmaster, and convinces the Ministry to behead Buckbeak the hippogriff. His sinister plot to get the prophecy orb in OotP leads to the death of Sirius Black, his own wife’s cousin. Even after spending time in Azkaban in HBP, Lucius comes crawling back to the Dark Lord, handing over his home and his wand in DH. Maybe Lucius shows a glimmer of remorse in the end when he thinks he has lost Draco, but his good behavior probably won’t last very long.

Fenrir Greyback

The word beast really fits Fenrir Greyback, the hideous werewolf who just can’t wait for a full moon to feast on his victims. While not a Death Eater, Fenrir works for Voldemort as an attack dog, killing or maiming anyone who won’t cooperate with the Dark Lord. He preys on small children, contaminating them so
