ABOUT THE AUTHOR
BEFORE LISA NAPOLI fell in love with Bhutan, she chronicled the dawn of the Internet era as a reporter and columnist for the first Web site of the New York Times, and later as a correspondent and columnist for MSNBC. She most recently worked as a reporter and fill-in host for the public-radio show Marketplace.
Earlier in her career, Napoli directed two short documentaries about southern culture and field produced coverage of the 1992 Clinton presidential campaign and the Waco standoffs.
