The land of the early Maya is covered with a highway system of k’ul, or vital life force that flows along channels covering the entire planet, providing vitality and enlivening the earth. (See Chapter 2 to refresh your memory on what k’ul is and how the Maya used it.) K’ul accumulates at intersection points that all ancient cultures referred to as sacred sites. To harness this energy the Maya erected buildings, pyramids, and temples over these sites.
What will it mean if this energy grid work reactivates?
Imagine that you can see k’ul and how it flows and accumulates. Visualize a city designed on the flows of k’ul. Some channels of energy will be wider and faster flowing, and contain larger amounts of k’ul. They will be brighter, more active. The intersection of these lines will overflow with effervescent energy. A pyramid placed on this site would literally light up. Can you see an entire city lit with vital energy the way our cities are lit with electricity? Can you envision aligning with this source of energy for personal empowerment?
The return of this knowledge and restoration of this system may provide the natural energy we need to create a technological society that’s in balance with nature. More correctly, we may find a new technology that is earth-friendly—maybe “Gaiaology” would be a good term.
Not only was k’ul important to Mayan city design and buildings, the pulsing flow of k’ul was an integral part of planning the activities of daily living. We may again begin to harmonize our activities with the flow of energy.
Pyramid Activation
The Mayans say that when the energy grid reactivates, the pyramids and sacred sites will activate as well. What will it mean for the pyramids to activate? We’ve said in Chapter 3 that the Mayan pyramids were coded with information. This was accomplished in two ways. The Maya created a library in stone by encoding information in the pyramid geometries and wiring these geometries into the grid work of the planet. In addition, they were aligned with the movement of celestial bodies and activities. When the grid and the sites are reactivated, the information they code will be transmitted across the planet along the k’ul lines.
Celestial Connection
It may sound strange to you that information can be transmitted on energy. It’s the same as using cell phones or radios. In modern technology, information is coded onto microwaves, radio waves, and other frequencies in the electromagnetic spectrum and transmitted. If you have the appropriate receiver, you can receive the information. More recently, frequencies of light are being used as information carriers as multitudes of signals are being sent along fiber optic cables. K’ul, or vital energy, also exists along the electromagnetic spectrum but in a range that’s outside of our measuring devices. When we create instruments that measure this frequency, what the Maya did will seem no more like magic than our own technology.
The Maya say their pyramids transmit information using harmonics. Elder Hunbatz Men says that sacred pyramid sites “vibrate at a higher frequency that is more open to cosmic consciousness.” He continues to say that visiting the sites opens the nervous system to receive sacred wisdom. It seems the pyramids were never really asleep; we were. The energy system has been quietly doing its work, but it’s been functioning with a lot of blockages in the system. The industrial revolution messed up the energy flows and natural systems. The process of removing those blocks has been underway by Elders of many traditions for the past few decades, and sacred sites are being reenergizing. As the pyramids reactivate, people visiting the sites are changed.
