Schumann Resonance
When the grid work and the sacred sites are activated, the entire harmonic of the planet will be affected. This sounds a little intangible, so let’s look at what it means.
The earth actually produces an electromagnetic frequency called the Schumann Resonance (SR), named for the physicist who theorized its existence back in 1952, Dr. Winfried Otto Schumann. The Schumann Resonance is essentially electromagnetic radiation that gets stirred up whenever we have lightning discharge. You’ll often hear that the SR is 7.8 hertz (htz.) or cycles per second. Actually, 7.8 htz. is the average frequency; it spikes higher with lightning activity. The general range is between 6 and 50 htz. As long as the earth’s lightning activity remains relatively constant, the SR remains the same.
However, the SR has been rising. The new average SR is upwards of 13 htz. And of course the increase in solar sunspot magnitude and activity during the solar maximum in 2012 will further increase the SR. It’s hard to imagine that the SR makes much difference to humans, but it does because of entrainment, which we talked about in Chapter 22. All life on the planet is in sync with the SR, specifically human brainwaves; if the SR changes, your brainwave patterns change, too. Since brainwave activity is linked to states of consciousness, changing the SR changes our consciousness.
The SR is changing with increasing earth events leading toward 2012. In addition, many think activating the grid work of the planet will shift the SR (and our consciousness) still further. In effect, the forces that are creating the purification are the same forces providing us with the input needed for transformation and the ability to survive the purification underway.
Cosmic Caution
The Schumann Resonance rises with the increasing incidence of lightning. On March 3, 2008, there was an unprecedented amount of lightning with 14,000 strikes occurring in Mississippi and Alabama over the course of just one hour!
Inspiration from Atlantis
The lost continent of Atlantis is persistent in Mayan legend (check back to Chapter 1 for a reminder). The destruction of the third age occurred with the “earth shaking, fire falling, and a huge flood” which covered their ancient homeland called Aztlan. Mayan murals depict the people fleeing their sinking home in canoes. Other cultures have legends about Atlantis as well. They tell the story of an advanced civilization, based on high technology, which was destroyed because they lost their spiritual compass. The legends tell of survivors fleeing in different directions and founding the Egyptian and Mayan civilizations. The pyramid structures and astronomical understanding of these two cultures are said to have come from Atlantis, or Aztlan, as the Maya would say.
