The photon field is said to have the effect of reducing solar radiation. It’s unclear whether the sun is actually dampened or whether its strength is the same, but the solar radiation is interfered with by the photon energy. In either case, it is claimed the rotation of the planet will be affected, temperatures will drop, and we will have another ice age. The rotational axis will shift, followed by melting of the ice caps and flooding across the planet. After the cataclysm is the beginning of a new age of peace and attunement with higher spiritual planes.

Additional Causes of Disasters

There are more theories of end-of-the-world scenarios and 2012. Most of them don’t have enough information to substantiate them, and some are pure speculation. Many simply need more time for scientists to uncover the physics involved. Here are a couple to contemplate.

Gamma and Gravity Waves

Some scientists, such as Paul La Violette, are studying “super gamma waves” being emitted from the center of the galaxy. Dr. La Violette calculates the gamma emissions occur in waves every 26,000 years. 2012 is the estimated time of arrival of the next major shot. There are claims that the effects are already being felt as the front wave of the emission is hitting us now. Gamma waves are said to travel with, or on, gravity waves, so the effect is said to be twofold: an increase in earthquakes and a boost in spiritual energy.

Asteroids

Many people believe that as the solar system moves through this more densely occupied area of the galaxy it becomes inevitable that the earth will be hit by an asteroid. NASA has a program that constantly monitors space for this eventuality. Right now, nothing is on the horizon until 2029, when an asteroid is expected to come within 18,600 miles of Earth!

Consciousness Shifting

We’ve mentioned that a prevalent theme to 2012 is the double-sided coin of physical catastrophe and spiritual enlightenment. We’re moving into celestial alignments, sunspot cycles, etc., which contain significant energy. The release of this energy has the power to cause earthquakes, super volcanoes, and super storms. If solar winds and gamma waves have this effect on physical bodies, what effect do they have on spirit?

Luminosity

We talked in Chapter 7 of the sun’s heliosphere lighting up as we go through a part of the galaxy with more highly charged energy particles. These highly charged particles interact with the plasma field in the heliosphere, increasing the sun’s luminosity. What might these highly charged particles be doing to us?

As the sun’s energy increases, the earth is charged as well. People also experience the increased charge physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Clairvoyants who see energy fields say that the energy field, or aura, around our body is becoming more luminous. This happens as the electromagnetic energy from the sun impacts the grid lines of the planet, charging sacred sites. Ceremony and meditation at these sites at this time is said to increase spiritual consciousness.

Physical Evolution

Many people believe that not only is consciousness being changed, but the physical bodies we inhabit are being changed as well. The thought is that our nervous systems and body structures have to be upgraded to manage larger amounts of energy. Your DNA, your cellular vibration, your nervous system, your endocrine system, and your entire physical body have to change to manage larger amounts of energy. Attitudes

At a very basic and real level, we evolve or devolve into better or worse people through our day-to-day experiences. How we respond either develops our resources and spirit or reduces us to our greatest fears. Most of this happens in our mind. How we think determines whether something is a threat or an opportunity. What we think determines how we respond. As society gets more stressed, we have a choice: cooperation or competition? Anyone who has lived through war knows that it brings out both.
