Tangerine, Apple, and Pomegranate
4 tangerines
2 apples
1 pomegranate
1 cucumber
2 tangerine segments for garnish (optional)

1. Peel tangerines and cut into quarters. Rinse apples and cut into sixths. Break pomegranate apart, pull out red pulp, and discard rind. Rinse cucumber and cut into 2-inch lengths.
2. Push tangerines, apples, pomegranate, and cucumber through the juicer, and process until juiced. Stir well and pour juice into two glasses.
3. Serve immediately, garnished with tangerine segments if desired.
Variation: To pulp this recipe in a blender or food processor fitted with a steel blade, remove seeds from tangerines if necessary, core apples, and cut all ingredients into pieces no larger than 1 inch. Drain mixture to remove pomegranate seeds.

Minted Pineapple and Papaya
½ large papaya or 2 small papayas

Wrong Spin!
Don’t use a juice containing pineapple if you want to turn the juice into a gelatin dessert. Pineapple contains an enzyme, bromelian, that makes gelatin impossible to thicken.
Mango, Orange, and Banana
