As Artemis finished speaking, Asclepius, sitting beside her, looked at her, respect and affection lighting his face. She was a renowned patron of the healing arts and a bright influence in his life, having taught him the artful way of animal and plant medicine. In the succeeding moment, however, an expression of puzzlement cast a fleeting shadow over his face. He gestured to his two teachers that he wished to speak.
“Dear Artemis and Chiron, I understand your ideas about the nature of health and illness and I appreciate the depth and practical significance of your perception. But, what about the symptoms of disease, shouldn’t we clearly identify these and work to understand their cause? Wouldn’t an in-depth diagnosis help someone attend to the discomfort of the symptoms and relieve a person’s irritation?”
Chiron reflected on the young physician’s question for a moment and then responded; “When one fully recognizes the power of the mind to create, Asclepius, he will use it only to focus attention on what he wants. If what is, is not that what you want, then do not energize the experience further by dwelling on it.
“Physical manifestation is a by-product of your vibrational offering. I am referring to the vibrations of the mental signals you project. Those signals you set forth are the vibration of what you are giving your attention to, by either your perceiving, your daydreaming, your imagining, your remembering, and so forth, in whatever way you are focusing in the moment. In other words, the signals you send out to the universe, those which in turn attract things to you, are all about what you are giving your attention to. The physical reflections of these signals are those manifestations you experience.
“It is best to walk lightly with understanding and enjoy these personal manifestations. Appreciate the enormous amount of information they supply, for they do you a great service by accurately illustrating to you where you are currently holding your predominant focus. You are continually molding your experience, this is ongoing, and the manifestations that occur are there specifically to give you the information that helps you to identify more clearly what you want.
“I repeat, Asclepius, we are creators. This is what we have come to this physical realm to do; it is our life. We are intimate extensions of the very same Source energy that has created and sustains this universe. We have come forth in these bodies intending to evaluate the lush contrast of this physical time space reality, letting that contrast evoke within us clarity of decision, because it is through the decisions that we forge, that we direct and flow the very same creative energy that creates all things. And it is the flowing of this energy that is life.
“The process of creating one’s life experiences is all about attraction. It is about what comes to you as a result of your vibrational offering. When the manifestations you are experiencing feel joyful and fulfilling, you are creating in harmony with your inner nature; and these manifestations offer you new perspectives from which to envision and create even greater and more delightful experiences. Your creating never ends; manifestations come and go, informing you of what you are currently attracting; experiences flow one to another; the journey is forever ongoing.
