The smaller guest room is a studio with a wheelchair-accessible bathroom and built-in bookshelves full of beach reading. Beach Lane B&B (262-8286; www.beachlane.com; d incl breakfast $105-145; ) Just a short walk from the beach, this sweet little cottage B&B has breezy rooms on the upper floor of a contemporary home, which are best suited for couples. Eating
Kailua has dozens of places to eat, from fast-food joints to upscale restaurants, but most are mediocre. We’ve reviewed some standout exceptions here.
