Telepathy and ESP
The ability to know things outside of the rational intellect is a keystone of meta-consciousness. It implies the breakdown of the barriers between time and space allowing us to bridge both with our minds. If you look back to Chapter 12, we talked about some of the ways people received information, like remote viewing or channeling. In the past, people either had a gift or had to train themselves to access these levels of awareness. What’s different now is that many people are simply “awakening” to their own ability, like it’s been asleep in all of us, waiting to be called into action.
Astral Projection
We’re all said to have energy bodies that are the template for our physical bodies. Reports throughout history talk of the ability of some to move their awareness into their energy body and use it as a vehicle to travel outside of the physical body. This is called astral projection. Astral projection can be triggered due to extreme shock where you suddenly find yourself outside of your body. If you don’t know what’s going on, this can be really frightening!
You can also be trained to achieve astral projection naturally. Today more and more people are awakening to their ability to travel in their energy body, easily and without fear.
Energy Awareness
Everything is made of a matrix of energy, and all form has an energy radiation or field around it. We measure this field when measuring the electrical output of the heart in an EKG or the brain in an EEG. Some healers and psychics have been able to see the fields of energy and manipulate them to create better health. Again, people are finding themselves able to see and feel energy fields naturally as we approach 2012.
A Word of Caution
All the states of awareness we’re talking about are natural abilities that have great power. Power can have both beneficial and harmful effects. It can be like playing with fire. When these abilities develop organically, it’s because we’re ready for them. On the other hand, trying to force these abilities can be very harmful, overwhelming the nervous system and burning out your body.
