Asti sparkling wine
3 ounces (approx. cup)
pineapple juice
splash grenadine

pineapple slice

1. Fill a 14-ounce glass with ice.
2. Add sparkling wine until the glass is aboutfull.
3. Fill to the top with pineapple juice.
4. Add a splash of grenadine, then garnish with a pineapple slice on the rim and drop in a cherry. Serve with a straw.

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE CORAL REEF ’RITA
This Outback margarita selection will handily quench, soothe, and ring the bell in your clock tower. A mildly fruity on-the-rocks margarita is powerful ammunition in any home bartender’s arsenal of party cocktails. I like tequila. Tequila is my friend. But get to the bottom of too many of these tasty pink drinks and you’ll feel like a used piñata in the morning.
1¼ ounces Margaritaville gold
tequila
¾ ounce triple sec liqueur
3 ounces (approx. cup) sweet
& sour mix (from page 231)
3 ounces (approx. cup)
cranberry juice
¾ ounce Grand Marnier liqueur
GARNISH
wedge of lime

margarita salt (for rim of glass)
1. If you want salt on the rim of your glass, moisten the rim of a 16-ounce mug (or glass) and dip it in margarita salt.
2. To make the drink, fill the glass with ice.
3. Add the tequila, triple sec, then some sweet & sour mix and cranberry juice (in equal amounts—aboutcup each should do it) to within a half-inch of the top of the glass. Stir.
4. Splash a half shot of Grand Marnier over the top of the drink.
5. Add a wedge of lime and serve with a straw.

To make this long-winded cocktail clone correctly you must squeeze the juice from a fresh grapefruit. Bottled juice still works, but this cocktail is at its best when you make it the way the big boys do.
1½ ounces vodka
4 ounces (½ cup) fresh squeezed
grapefruit juice
2 ounces (¼ cup) sweet & sour

1. Fill a 12-ounce frozen mug (or glass) with ice.
2. Pour all ingredients, except Sprite, over ice.
3. Pour drink into a mixer cup and then back into the mug, to mix.
4. Add a splash of Sprite, and garnish with a lime wedge on the rim. Serve with a straw.

3 ounces (approx. cup) Ocean
Spray cranberry juice

2. Pour all ingredients over ice.

4. Garnish with an orange wedge on the rim, and serve with a straw.
