Vixen Manual - Karrine Steffans [34]
Sound like too much? It’s not, especially if you are truly living up to your potential. And I’m not suggesting you do this just to get a man. Do this for you. This builds up your ego and keeps you living and moving in your purpose. That’s the secret of power. It’s already within you. All you have to do is tap in to it.

Vixen Tip
Pick a day, just one day, when you will do everything you’ve always wanted but for which you never thought you had the time, energy, or gumption. Get up, make your bed, head out for a bit of exercise, then come home and get into a steamy shower. While showering, pay close attention to yourself. Be sure to shave all that hair you’ve been neglecting over the past week or so. Prepare a healthy breakfast, put on an outfit that makes you feel beautiful, and head out to work. Hopefully, you enjoy your job and are able to perform with vigor and enthusiasm. Come home, prepare or buy dinner, straighten up your place, and slip into the shower, then into something sexy. Invite the man you are dating over or jump on the one you have at home. Ride him until you can ride no more, then either allow him to go home, or curl up next to him and end your day with a smile. Will you be exhausted? Yes! (Even more so if you have children.) But you would have done it all. Even though this may not be an everyday routine, try it once or twice a week. You’ll feel so accomplished, so complete, and so very powerful. And guess what? You are!

Power is something that eludes many women. We’re not always sure of how to harness it, often falling back on the only tools we believe to work, mainly beauty and sex. At some point during the course of history, power seems to have been set aside as something strictly for men. Yes, there are instances of women ruling monarchies and the like, but there’s no question that this is a proverbial “man’s world,” and they seemingly have most of the power. The word power itself is masculine in tone and implies a certain indestructibility of those whom it is used to describe. Power is not easily earned but is absolutely necessary in order to be successful.
Part of gaining power is being in control of every aspect of your life. I believe it is important to have the exact components in your life that the average successful and powerful man has in his, all the while retaining your feminine qualities and sensibilities. In general, men do not rely on their emotions to guide them through their personal or business lives. They seek facts and are solution-oriented, examining what’s in front of them and rationalizing the cause and effect of everything. If something goes wrong, they don’t stop to get emotional about it the way women do. They immediately go into fix-it mode and try to change the outcome. If a man hates his car, he will take steps to buy a new one. If he does not have enough money to buy the car of his choice, an industrious, driven man will find a way to make more money in order to do so. He will not look for someone else to buy it for him. He will not blame the establishment for his woes. He will become the establishment and destroy his obstacles. These are obviously generalizations and are not true of every man, but they are certainly true of successful men.

Vixen Say What?
Nothing moves without power. Nothing changes without motion.

If you wish to gain more power, you will need to become more rational in your approach to life. Decide to become more practical and proactive and less emotional and reactive when critical thinking is required. Examine your dreams and aspirations.
