4. Be sure you are carrying or wearing your talisman, your amulet, or a symbol of your totem.
5. Fill one section of the glass dish with liquid (either oil or holy water), one section with herb, and the third section with a powder. This is the minimum number of items you must use. You may choose to use more, but you must at least have one choice from each of the three categories.
6. Seat the person at a table with arms resting on the surface, wrists facing upward. Stand behind the person with your hands on the shoulders.
7. Ask the person to look into the candle flame or focus on a point in front of him or her. Subjects should think pleasant thoughts or say a prayer—whatever they are comfortable with that will promote positive energy.
8. You should feel the release of negative energy in the palms of your hands as soon as you place your hands on the person’s shoulders. Call upon your spirit guide, angels, or archangels to help you remove the negative energy. Using your fingers, place a dab of liquid, herb, and powder on the person’s wrists. You can also place a dab of each item on the person’s forehead (over the “third eye”).
9. Visualize a dark shadow coming off the person, starting at the feet and working toward the top of the head. As the negative energy leaves the body, you release it to the universe and replace it with white Light.
10. Visualize the white Light pushing the energy from the floor upward.
11. When you cannot feel the negative energy anymore, it is removed. If you choose, you can repeat the steps a second time.
It is important that the energy is released into the universe. Do not try to send the negative energy back to the person who sent it. You are not the curse police. And trust me, you do not want this kind of energy on your karma!
How to Remove Negative Energy from an Object
1. Place yourself in the white Light (see page 214).
2. Light your candle and place it nearby.
3. Be sure you are carrying or wearing your talisman, your amulet, or a symbol of your totem.

5. Place a dab of the liquid, the herb, and the powder on the item. If it’s a small object, one dab should be enough. If it’s larger, use more. For instance, if you are removing negative energy from a car, place a dab on the front bumper and the back bumper. If you are working with a bedroom set, each piece must be dabbed individually. For a mirror, place a dab of the mixture in each corner or one at the top and bottom and on each side. If the object is made of something that cannot have the mixture touch it, place the item in a plastic bag or wrap it in plastic and continue as before.
6. Place your hands on the item and visualize white Light pushing the negative energy off and moving it upward. For a mirror, visualize the white Light lifting the negative energy up from the surface in a sheet. Send the negative energy into the universe.
How to Remove Negative Energy from a House or Building
1. Place yourself in the white Light (see page 214).
2. Light your candle and place it nearby.
